A Flock of Seagulls

We left the southern tip of Texas and drove north to Corpus Christi where we camped on the beach at Mustang Island State Park. In the morning we were awakened by an attack of the birds right outside the RV windshield.

Dale was starting to feel better and decided to go for a beach drive with me along the Padre Island National Seashore. You can drive on the beach here for 65 miles, but Dale had had enough after 15.

When we turned around, I decided to take a walk out into the water.

But when I looked back to wave, I discovered that Dale had reclined her seat and gone to sleep. She’s in there. Really.
