We started out this morning for a little drive up I-95…to Nova Scotia. Here we are, just getting on the Interstate at its southernmost terminus; that’s downtown Miami in the background.

Say goodbye to Miami Beach and South Florida for a couple weeks…

Last look from the top of the Golden Gate flyover in North Miami-Dade County.

We left the house prepared for hurricane weather, but, ironically, Hurricane Leslie is projected to get to Nova Scotia about the same time as we will.
Anyway, we made 565 miles today and just stopped at Walmart in Savannah, Georgia, for the night. Our plan is to drive all day for four days, getting off I-95 only to eat and parking-lot camp. We’re going to see if we can stay on I-95 all the way to its northern terminus in Maine.
