We made it to Buffalo, New York, yesterday afternoon and checked in to the same KOA campground that Trevor stayed at when he first got to Buffalo about two months ago. We’re just a few miles from Niagra Falls which is where we plan to go with Trevor today, although it will likely be crowded since this is a holiday weekend for Americans and Canadians, although for different holidays.
Trevor found a room at a Catholic church in town. The building is dormitory style, set up like a convent. Here I am with Trevor next to the church.

And here’s the building Trevor lives in. There’s a nice little courtyard.

Trev let us up to see his room on the second floor. Tight security here 😉

Cozy room with his own sink, communal bathroom, shower and kitchen.

There are a couple other boarders around Trevor’s age, also working in similar programs like AmeriCorps, that have become friends. Trevor starts work as a teacher’s aide in AmeriCorps’ Able Program tomorrow, his primary job. He also tutors for the Boys & Girls Club in the evenings. He’s a busy guy!
