Yesterday we drove to Robert Redford’s ski resort, Sundance. It’s about an hour from where we’re staying, on the way to Provo, Utah. We were expecting a quaint village with shops and restaurants since we thought this was the venue for the famous Sundance Film Festival held every January.
It turns out that there is no village and the film festival is held in Park City. But there is a comfortable lodge with a deli and restaurant. The lodge looks like it dates back several years. Here’s Dale out front, with a view from the bridge.

We brought along our ski gear.

There aren’t many lifts or runs, but what they have is very enjoyable.
Here’s Dale at the top of the ski mountain, on her way down.

Our kids will be happy to see that we’ve bought helmets (they will do double duty for caving expeditions)!
