It’s deja vu all over again. Just two weeks ago we flew home to Florida from London’s Heathrow Airport and now, here we are again!

Our flight on British Airways landed at 11:00 a.m. after being delayed taking off from Miami because a passenger who had checked his luggage failed to show up at the gate, so the flight was held until the airline could find and remove his luggage.

Anyway, we’re checked into our hotel now, the Renaissance London Heathrow, and it’s 2:00 p.m., although my body tells me it’s still 9:00 a.m. The hotel is right next to the airport. In fact, we could watch ourselves take off in the morning if we could be in two places at once.

We get up early in the morning for our flight out to Istanbul, leaving at 7:00 a.m. Then a four hour flight and two more time zones and we’ll be in Turkey. But now, time for bed.
