San Carlos de Bariloche

We arrived in Bariloche in northern Patagonia late this afternoon, picked up our rental car and drove straight to Chiado Restaurant to meet Germán, the owner, who is our home exchange partner. Here’s Germán (left), hard at work…

We’ll be staying in Germán’s house for the next six days. It’s just down the road: quaint and very comfortable. Our home here in Bariloche:

It feels like Switzerland here, just like they claim in the tourist brochures.
